January’s Books

Recently seen on social media and in the news - Pepsi (an official sponsor of SuperBowl 53) billboards are taking over Atlanta.  We cannot guarantee what beverages (Coke and/or Pepsi) will be served at and during the Super Bowl this coming weekend but we can guarantee new books coming to a local library shelf near you in the Twin Lakes Library System. Come into one of our two branches to speak with a staff member about requesting one of our newest arrivals. All the most recently cataloged items can also be accessed online.  As always, we provide a monthly new books shelf on goodreads.com featuring summaries and reader reviews of the books on the New Books List (available here and in print at our branches). We do not officially endorse goodreads.com (and they do not endorse us) but many of our staff and local patrons use this wonderful online social media book reading and author community for all things books and book-related.

However, we are not always able to order all the books requested by everyone for our local library shelves and, therefore, we are working to provide additional electronic services such as rbdigital and hoopla.
